What did we do with all our time before social media? We spend many minutes (if not hours!) each day browsing Facebook to see our friends and family updates, monitoring Twitter for mentions of our company, seeing what our peers are saying on LinkedIn and interacting with all these groups.
Although it's taking up a significant chunk of time, it's clear that social media is not a complete waste of time as it has so many benefits. The trick is to make sure you are not wasting too much time by monitoring or scheduling content manually when there are so many social media automation tools available. I found this list of tools and strategies to help automate social media and will definitely be adopting more of these in the hope that I can grasp more time for back for me!
