There can't be many things quite as dull as reading a step-guide to making a cup of coffee. But make a video and we're all glued to it - 77,000 of us have watched it in 24 hours. OK - I know it's Tim Peake and he's making coffee on a space station, but the point is that video is a great medium for turning even the most humdrum topics into marketing gold dust. It doesn't have to be expensive either - some of the best videos I've seen use stock footage and a clever script. Seeing it has far more impact that reading about it. If you need any tips, drop me a line.
